About me

I am Yewei Xia (夏业伟).

I received the Ph.D. degree from Fudan University in June 2026, advised by Prof. Shuigeng Zhou. Before that, I received my bachelor’s degree from the Communication University of China in 2021. I also spent a wonderful year as a visiting student in the Machine Learning Department at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in 2024, under the guidance of Prof. Kun Zhang.

Research interests

  • Latent causal structure learning.
  • Causal representation learning with identifiability guarantee.
  • Statistical (conditional) independence tests using kernel methods.
