About me
I am Yewei Xia (夏业伟), a second-year PhD student at Fudan University. I belong to Prof. Shuigeng Zhou’s group. I received my bachelor’s degree from Communication University of China. I am open to possible cooperation or discussing opportunities. Further, I am always happy to collaborate with junior (undergraduate/master) students. If you are interested, feel free to contact me by email. I am now visiting Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), advised by Professor Kun Zhang.
Research interests
- Causal discovery in the presence of latent confounders.
- Causal representation learning, (non-linear) ICA.
- Machine learning under a causal perspective.

Miscs
- I enjoy sports and watching sports games, especially soccer and badminton. I am interested in analyzing soccer formation and tactics. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
- I enjoy playing sudoku, minesweeper and other mind games (including problems in algorithm contests >_<).
- In my spare time I like to read history books, especially Chinese history.
